Yes, entry to the waterfall trail is completely free to the public. You only pay for transport, village parking (10 to 20 MAD), and optional local guides (100 to 200 MAD).
A seat in a shared grand taxi from Marrakech costs 30 to 50 MAD. These depart from Bab er-Rob or Moulay El Yazid mosque. They only leave when all six seats are full.

Beautiful Culture and Nature This wasn't just a nature hike; it was a great cultural experience. We stopped at a traditional Berber house and had mint tea with the family, which felt very authentic. The Argan oil cooperative was also interesting. The valley itself is lush and green, a beautiful contrast to the red city of Marrakech.
Active and Fun! It’s hard to impress teenagers, but they absolutely loved climbing the rocks to get to the higher waterfalls in Ourika. Our guide, Youssef, was energetic and made the hike a lot of fun. We ended the day eating a huge plate of chicken skewers by the water. A perfect, active family day out.
